Born and raised in Barrie, a small conservative town in Southern Ontario, I yearned for excitement, and after graduating, packed my few possessions and headed west, via CN Rail.
A cold call won me a job in finance. They had plans to hire a Collector (not my forte), but they hired me; saying "It takes a lot of guts to walk in cold like that. We want people like you working for us." I started the following Monday.

After 25 years as an overachiever in the sales arena my life spun out of control in 2002 when my health declined to a debilitating state.
